I think a decent document of achievements of today's preservation/restoration movement would be for someone top line to remake 'The Battle Of The Bulge' (the one with Telly Savalas); it had a very promising plot viz. the many different facets of the Ardennes Offensive. Bring in aircraft specialists (there are Me262's flying!) and the many re-enactment organizations. here's hoping...

I costs €18 to see the event+ the museum. And you can also buy tickets to ride along in a vehicle. I cant wait to go there again, as soon as the coviddrama allows it. It is an amaizing experience. I was there in 2018 and already had my tickets for 2020 which was sadly cancelled.

Those huuge halftrack trucks for soldiers transport were build using pantherrunning gear from destroyed tanks? What is the story of those amphifibius small vehicles? I never heard about it.. when were used, which operation?

Those half-tracks are a complete class by themselves. A pair of the really big ones would be able to tow the Panther if it got stuck. Three could tow a Tiger.
