Memphis is a distribution center that is why the roads/street are horrible. Lots of truck traffic. We can't fix the pavement quicker than rigs can tear them up.

This was my last run at Indian River. Such a shame. I absolutely loved the job, but the miles were not there. I asked repeatedly to run, but it fell on deaf ears. I don't understand it at all. That customer is no joke! It's tight! Lol

@KSmithersHightower4 ай бұрын
Good morning. Yes, you are able to do a 10 hr break, or sometimes you have a 34-hour break at the tank washes.

Hiring freeze right now, No trucks available
@tnleverett6 ай бұрын
If you do eventually get hired, don't be surprised if you end up sitting around a lot. Trucks are nice, though. Lol
@KSmithersHightower4 ай бұрын
Good morning. You do not sit at Indian River Transport unless you are on your 10 hr or a 34 hr break. On average, everyone drives at least 40 percent deadhead miles, and the rest are loaded miles. Just 3 weeks ago, I had deadheaded 3,000 miles from Bensalem, Pennsylvania, to Tulane, California
@KSmithersHightower4 ай бұрын
As of now, there is no hiring freeze. Our recruiting department has a lot of applications that they have to check out. Keep calling.
