It’s so nice to see a dairy farm get put back to production instead of everything being torn down and the land developed. That’s what’s happening to any farms around us when the owners pass away.

Great video! I'm sure it was a challenge getting girls trained for new parlor. Dairy farm I work at went from double 5 to 32 rotary parlor. It was a real struggle getting trained, especially getting them off. Keep up the great work and keep farming!!

Grant, have watched a lot of your older videos today! Most of the day! Couple of questions, how many cows are you milking at home farm? How long will the silage last once it is exposed to oxygen? Neverending repairs, great that you can fix most everything.

It’s cool to see it’s still possible to be a farmer in 2024, or farm is going in retirement because doesn’t pay off anymore at least in Germany. Be moving to Canada this weekend.

I turn the pto on after 3/4 of the grass is in. And for all the corn. Any sooner I loose a little grain from the door. No problem starting the pto.

Tag axles get in the way a lot for our steeper field driver ways so it doesn’t bother us that it’s not on there.

That space for the alley scrap comes down to how rich you feel when you’re building the barn.Had one neighbor who put the corner wheel outside the barn to save space. What a big mistake that was. They corrected that by building a huge extension in which they had the scraper backing up under a gate.
