I knew farming was hard work, and that what we normally see of your milking day is usually the edited version but, Justin, you really are a hero! I reckon you do more hard, physical, work in those almost 2 hours, than most people do all day! :) Well done you, Justin, and I'm so glad you put out the full version of your morning milking chores :)

Completely fill you on milking two and walking from deep pastures with calves. Literally do the same, however you may want to carry a lil steel bucket of alfalfa. I have taught mine to listen for sounds and know that means to eat. They will learn to walk with you and not against you. Ha but completely understand a bull two calves and two milking cows and horns on one as well ha. Love it!

I love this format, it was really enlightening to see your routine largely uncut in real time. We're currently looking to buy a farm here in the UK, and watching your videos every day really helps us put everything into perspective. Keep up the great work, and I'd love to see another uncut video like this one!

When I started the video without him speaking it's kinda weird because I used to hearing him talking while vlogging😁

Good job Arthur ! ! Your transitions were smooth and clean, the camera was steady as a rock even when you climbed all over Sally and still kept your feet out of the shot. You may have another full time job videoing for Justin. Justin: "Josiah, wanna go with?" Josiah: " Yes, , , What are you doing?" Brain: "Same thing we do every day Pinky, try and take over the world." _ _ _ _ wait, what ?!?

The price of having to lead, shoo & drag 5 bovines first thing every morning - Exhaustive ✊🏾 Getting 4ish gallons of raw milk every day - PRICELESS!!! Great video Justin! Art did a great job flowing with the work too. You told the story without saying a word (at least not to us ) a la Charlie Chaplin. Question: Why not get a milking machine to add time to your valuable day?

im so glad you got the worst "herding" day on camera! i watched every single minute from start to finish. you finally scratched my itch and filmed in real time - I've been longing for that since i subscribed over 2 years ago. hear my deeeep sigh of contentment aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh. :). all the way thru i was trying to guess who was filming and i kept complementing their skills to myself, i should have known that was Art, even though i couldn't quite identify him in the bathroom mirror. I loved this post!

That rooster 🐔🤦♀️😂 I started making little rhythms to the milking...do you ever do that? 🤓 I bet you get a lot of thinking done during milking 🤔🤔🤔

Have to admit that I fast forward a few times. But appreciate more what you go through. The boys weren’t there to help so much this time. So I’m sure that made a big difference. If it was me, I’d invest in a milking machine. More because of my hands. But it seems it would be faster and less mess and loss. Your a better person Than me. Though it would be a nice quite time to sit and reflect while milking . Thanks for making this.

Loved this video, I have to say you are one patient papa, I would be so mad if my kid bailed on me like that and left me hanging, especially with the trouble of a bull and calf not listening to me, lol, great show though

Just curious- why dont you invest in an automatic milking machine? They're definitely reasonably priced and drain the cow quickly and easily. Clean, sanitary, and effective.

Lorene here. I watched the whole thing while the snow fell and I did some quilting. I used to get the clean up job with a shovel when I was a kid.

I am imoressed!! Thanks for sharing. #Justin what do you think about during those long times of milking? Or maybe you just relax since I know you enjoy it.
