Why don't you raise your own sea monsters so that they can produce The chickens you're going to eat. Instead of buying chicks.

Justin and Rebecca are smart people. They seem to be employing a "scatter" approach to marketing their homesteading channel on KZbin. Some KZbin viewers are satisfied while other viewers are dismayed. This channel is their KZbin paycheck. Justin has additional revenue streams from his books and his other channel Abundance+. They are not suffering in any way, shape or form. It's difficult to watch them, as parents, employ their children as either actors or props. Additionally, it's more than difficult to watch their children walk barefoot in animal waste; so many parasites from animal waste can invade and populate in human bodies. Choosing to watch their channel is an individual decision. This channel is not a good source of homesteading information, but rather social entertainment.

I’m almost done with this chicken tractor. I’m 62 (woman) and have done it all myself except for ripping the 2x4s. I have a small table saw and a small work bench and somehow it all worked out. I even brought the wood inside to the entryway and dining room to screw everything together because I can’t work in the heat and humidity. Before attaching the top, I got help carrying it outside. The only problem I have is that the 3 1/2 inch swivel hasp staples are too big to screw onto the 2x2s of the front and back door frames. I made it work for the lid by directing the screws inward. Do you have suggestions on an alternative? The staples I bought from the big box store are 1.5” square but the screw holes are too close to the edges. We have raccoons, foxes, and occasional coyotes so I need something the carabiners can fit through for protection or something comparable. Thanks!

When I lost my Mike, I tried to find love but something just wasn't right every time. It took me eight years to find the one I am destined to be with for the rest of my life or (God forbid) his. It's so hard to lose someone you love so very dearly in life. I'm grateful beyond words for my Rob. I'm also grateful that Rory has again found love. Every time real love comes, it is unique. With Mike, the word passion did not give enough emphasis on what was. Rob and I had passion but more so a calmer relationship from the start. I've walked three times through cancer with Rob. He's still going strong for which I am grateful beyond words. He and I are very different in politics and other ways. However, the love is genuine which gets us through a world of "hurts". I'm so grateful that we can get along and love one another despite any external barriers.

And if they're not, mutual respect is key. My hubby mows the land and tends the trees, but I garden, I raise the chicks, I collect the eggs and tend the chickens, I take care of the greenhouse, and I butcher. ❤

They’re starting to describe the little cattle towns and ranches that exist in my homeland….all the neighbors have animals and land.. Burnt and brown, happy and humble. They’re called farmers, and ranchers. And you don’t need a bunker for that. Just freedom.

I learned at a very young age that if you are afraid, they notice, and it increases your chances of getting stung. If you have no fear, you can walk right in and they will ignore you so long as you don't attach or hurt them.

Self cleaning, no poop coop, dirty poop, don’t touch poop, no need to clean, self cleaning nests, buy the book, build the no poop coop….we get it. What I don’t get is the amount of eggs you toss because they’re not perfectly clean, but the kids are barefoot in the poop and then in the house.
