Hi this is so awesome!!! We are currently trying to find a way to get a surge belly milker, but struggling to find one online that isn’t $2000+ Do you know the make/model of your vacuum pump?

I have a full video all about my pump just a few videos away from the surge one ☺️. I always source my surge in parts vs a full one they are always less expensive that way.

I just picked up a surge milker from a lady in Oshawa. Needs some love to get it back into service. Where do you get parts here in ON? Also your vacuum pump is plenty to run the milker?

Vacuum pump is more then good enough to run our surge. We have been using the same pump for around 10 years now (give or take). Here is a video we did on using the surge. kzbin.info/www/bejne/oHmqlp1vgNBjmNk As for the parts for the surge we order all our parts from Hamby Dairy in the US. It is more then worth it for us, they have amazing customer service. hambydairysupply.com/surge-bucket-milker/

The small ones hold around three gallons of milk and the big ones around 4 gallons.

When you said it didn't hold it pulse so you replaced it! What did you nean? I have the same set up! How long does it take to milk your ciw

I switch the pulsator as needed. One of them wont work in the cold (the newer one) so in the winter time I use the original surge pulsator. Sometimes it needs to be fully cleaned out with the replacement kit, which was what was happening. It just needed its maintenance done. It takes about 5-10 minutes to milk her out depending on how much milk she is giving me
