8 years ago I found this song, and was absolutely struck with emotion. During that time I was fighting battles with myself, in one sided relationships, and was not the person I wanted to be. This song literally helped me get out of a bad situation. Hard to explain how, but because of this song, I didn't give up, and even eventually found the person I wanted to be again. If I'm feeling low, I put on this song, sing along, and then look for more milky chance songs to listen to. Y'all are way underrated, and people are missing out. ❤️

A lot of GOOD bands today got their start from MYSPCE. Now in 13 its more harder because PITCHFORK sort of dominates Whats hot in indie ... Pitchfork has FALLEN OFF BIG TIME. I remember in 08 PITCHFORK was the shit ... but not a lot of Americans knew about it. Then it fell off with Lana Del Rey and alex clare and Avicci and Milky Chance. I get goosebumps hearing this song, I remember it was summer I just moved to a whole new state, no more California left all of my friends. When I moved to this new state my only friend was fifa, so many emotions. Sadness for leaving my other life behind, anxiety for starting at a new high school meeting new girls and new friends. Some months ago i listened stolen dance for the first time and i felt in love with it. Yesterday i decided to listen to more songs from Milky chance when this one spotted. I really felt i knew this song from somewhere but i could remember. I showed it to a friend asking if he knew and in a moment remembered it appeared in fifa 15 soundtrack. I can't explain every feeling i had in that moment, but mostly it was nostalgia (fifa 15 was my favourite game at the time). I swear i almost cried; that song really takes me back to that time when things didn't really matter, to when i was happy. I would really love to go back and live that life again.

After seeing this, I've been thinking there could be a message behind this song. Maybe this song represents many different hobbies, activities, and aspects of their childhood that they don't have time for/don't want to do anymore.That would explain the teddy bear and the bike. The children could represent other parts of their childhood that, as you can see, they're *ignoring*. This could all mean that, maybe we disregard and take for granted the great things about life and forget our pasts, along with possibly where we came from. And, at the end, they're throwing things in a fire. That could be them... permanently forgetting about all these different aspects. Or, you know. It could just be an awesome song.
