Milla Jovovich Talks ‘Resident Evil’ Reboot and Her Daughter Joining the MCU | Full Interview

ET’s Ash Crossan spoke with actress Milla Jovovich ahead of her newest movie ‘Monster Hunter,’ in theaters Dec. 18. Jovovich weighs in on the ‘Resident Evil’ reboot news and discusses her daughter, Ever, joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe in ‘Black Widow.’ Jovovich also reveals which video game franchise she’d love to tackle on the big screen next.

Resident Evil needs a proper reboot. No disrespect to milla though. They put their own story into it. We need an actual true to game reboot though. The horror and suspense the original game had. They would have a hard time humanizing resident evil beyond maybe RE3. They took wesker straight out of RE5 no real build up. She's into movies where she is a star and on those TV series shows there are many characters to focus on solo movie stars. She already has Fifth Element, The Messenger, Resident Evil, etc. with no aging affects all these years. She needs to do a quality movie (or movie series) focusing on just her as best actress.
