I enjoyed the production video of the Millar’s ukes, but Mr. Lu’s performance was awesome! Millar’s Ukes are now on my list of “must try” ukuleles.

Fascinating what a medium size workshop can produce, bigger than Handmade but not Mass produced , so much care and attention taking to make each and every instrument, only wish i could afford one.

After watching this, now I feel like I should never object to the price for a quality instrument. Millar ukes are fine instruments and certainly worth $500-700 USD. Hank Lu's performance is fantastic!

Incredible video. I live in the US and just ordered my second one from England. One of the best sounding Ukes I own and at half the cost of my others. Bravo!

Wow, I don’t even like jazz, but played like this on ukulele is amazing. I do enjoy it.

The mahogany ukulele, all the way for me. I prefer the strong, mellow tone.

Well I now own a long neck soprano SP210L and it has a great sound, looking forward to getting a full concert and a tenor

I love the entire video. The workmanship is amazing and the demo at the end is awesome. I particularly like the little bit he plays at about 30 minutes, and again at about 31, 32, 34, 35, 37 minutes. It looks like he’s playing C, D7, G then possibly A and A7. Anybody know what it is, or is he just noodling 😁

@daveflatters4981 we have forwarded your question to Hank Lu, the ukulele performer in the video, and this is his reply: "Thank you so much for watching and listening to my playing! I was doing a typical Hawaiian hula chord progression, which was also played by Ohta San in his video, hope you like it!"

@@WoodCulture please thank Hank Lu for this. I loved all the tunes he played but that short riff just got in my ear.

I’m in the US and purchased my Millar ukulele from UK based World of Ukes. Matt took great care of me and made sure the uke made it safely to me. I don’t know if any US retailers are carrying them yet.
