One of my fav light medium euros. Never had a bad game at 3-4 players, avoid 2 players at all cost.

Thanks for the review. The unique scoring for each section of the board sounds like a lot of fun. Unfortunately, the scaling is a deal breaker for me. Looks like the game board is too open for two players and it loses the high tension of trying to make strategic moves to block your opponent. A double sided board would have been a great option. Maybe they’ll revise the setup to place a few other colored pieces at the beginning to block some spaces.

There is a variant out there that removes certain sections of the board. But you’re right, this should have been included in the box.

Is that an official variant from Reiner?

What I found was on bgg was something called the spiel box variant which I guess is some kind of German publication.

I bought the game. Would not have done if not for my favourite designer Knizia. Point sallad games are not generally my type of games.
