Many thrash bands were. Testament have a song from 1989 called Greenhouse Effect. Nuclear Assault have an album called Handle With Care, referring to the earth. It was a pretty common thrash band trope.

I agree. I follow him on Instagram and he’s vegan too, sadly. It’d be hard to think clearly without any protein. Incredible guitarist though. Tom Araya was always based though.
