​@@ic3mania You could check out some bands for inspiration like Gutalax, Gorevent, Devourment, Discomformity, and Words of Concrete, they all do a lot of palm muted powerchords. You could listen to At the Gates and Dark Tranquility too if you like melodic metal, also bands like Blood Stain Child, Dragonland and YUZUKINGDOM are very cool too.

No, but the key on the song is F#m on E standard tuning. Some notes are lower because i've recorded this on a 7 string in drop A but its playable on 6.

I hope you won't hate me for saying this, but... I preferred the simpler approach from the medley version, the chorus especially ; the open chords with simple drum beat felt better imo. The harmonics following it also felt unnecessary. It's still pretty good but... sometimes, less is more :) still dropping that thumbs up ofc

Thanks for listening. I'll never hate anyone that critiques my stuff, its fine. About the thing, yeah, you might be right about the structure since i had to do it a bit longer and not to make the track "boring" repeating the same thing over and over. I've ran out of ideas and that's what i came up with.
