Nice video mate! As i'm a left drummer, all i want to know if it's possible to build the rack for a left handed drummer. Is it possible? or do i have to search for another kits? I played in my 15s and now i'm almost 29, it would be just for fun but i really need to know if i can turn all the rack or not! Thanks in advance and again compliments for this video!

Is it possible to combine sounds of different drum kits and tune each pad separately? Does it have hall or reverb effect? Is it possible to install new sounds?
@themiscelettobros.
@themiscelettobros. Жыл бұрын
Yes, you can mix and match every sound to create your own user kits. The available effects are: reverb, distortion and compression. There's also a 4 band equalizer. it's possible to load a new sample using a usb stick. Maximum sample size is 15 MB. It must be stored as a WAV file (mono) with a resolution of 16 bit and a sampling rate of maximum 48 kHz.

Great video - I've had this kit for three years as a complete beginner. I'm building my speed up and finding the hi hat to be a particularly questionable. I also cant seem to stop it spinning around so the rubber part is on the other side of the stand (I'm using a lot of tape to try and keep it central). Do you think it is possible to replace the hi hat stand with a third party one?

Planning to buy this kit as well, I play professional for over more than a decade but the thing is that the Roland or Yamaha kits in my opinion are way to expensive in this price category... Hi dude! Me too. So. I am actually a rock/metal/prog drummer (hobbyist) and my wife proposed to buy an ekit for the kids, back in 2019. Yeahhh, for the kids ... mhm... I bought EZDrummer2 at that time and baaaaammm... Catched! I mean the sounds are quite ok, but with a drum sampler. Have a look into my profile. I still use those pads. You're right. Roland is quite expensive and there also use just a 50cent piezo. Ok the build quality is better but - see - Acutally I bought some used Alesis pads or other FAME/Millenium pads. For toms definitely ok. I don't know, maybe check out the LEMON edrum kit. I use serveral cymbal pads and a 12" tom pad and its working. Anyway I was quite happy with the MPS-850 and started the VST drumming journey, it's so versatile, sounds so good. As a hobby drummer , even semi pro I won't hire a studio for recording drums....

How easily do the rim shots work? Might buy one.. What is your opinion worth the money? And much can you change the sound of each pad? Like for instance I don't like the snare sound can it be switched to another on the fly or do you need a laptop and samples from there and run through a program..? Would love if you answer :) Very nice playin mate! Very nice indeed!!!
@themiscelettobros.
@themiscelettobros. Жыл бұрын
The rims have a separate trigger, so you can assign any sound you want to them, easily. I'm sure there are other ekits out there with the same features, I don't know them all, but this is a good deal, a lot of bang for your buck. You can change the sound of every pad very easily, everything you listened to in the video are sounds and songs included in the module, so no further purchase necessary. Of course if you have the time and money you can hook it up to a laptop running Superior Drummer and instantly upgrade the sounds (i.e. the sounds of Superior Drummer are the best in the business). Thanks for the compliments, Cheers!

So what I would like to hear is the amount off noise you hear when you are in the room not having a headphone on your head or in the room next to the practicing room. Was this your first time using it? You play really good....my dream but never gave it a shot because I felt you had to have a gift from God to play drums with both hands and both feet all doing something different at the same time....

Not every drumkit preset has a cross stick sound already set up, but you can easily assign the cross stick sound to any surface or pad or rim you want.

Just got this kit today. They sent me a 220v power supply instead of the correct 110v. can't even use a typical effect pedal supply because those are center ground. This takes center pos. hard to believe.

Hi, try to add some piece of rubber material over the "tongue" of the kick pad, this way the pedal can clamp a little better. I hope this helps, cheers

Not keen on the in-built sounds (I rarely am with ANY of these e-kits, tbh). BUT hooking it up to a vst plugin like Addictive Drums 2 or similar would take this kit to a WHOLE different level!

So I watched like a million of these vids where everyone opens the hi hat, hits it and then closes it. It's like nobody knows you can hit it closed, open it and it makes a schwoop sound or it doesn't work so I am now going to assume the latter. Nobody heard Funky drummer I guess. lol
@themiscelettobros.
@themiscelettobros. Жыл бұрын
This is a cheap kit, (no cc on the hi hat), so you have to adjust your techinique accordingly. Besides, it is forbidden to play Funky Drummer on a e-drumkit... by the Godfather Himself.

Glad you liked it! Seriously, in my defence I chose to demonstrate the songs and sounds... like the title of the video says. No other video review focused on this topic at the time, so I did it.
@AngeloTsocosMusic

Ideally need to change the title so it doesn't say review. You don't review it at all!!!! And where is the testing of cross stick, rim shot, choke and 3rd zone bell?!?!?

I did a brief review in the beginning of the video, and I played the sounds and songs that I preferred at the end... I tried to highlight the things I didn't see in other videos, the things that to me are the most important like the quality of the materials, factory sounds and songs, easy access menus. Thanks for watching, Cheers!
