I had a black and white pinstriped ruched bodycon skirt exactly like that orange dress 'around' 2000. The tie up shirts were everywhere. Everyone keeps forgetting about the beaded tie in the back butterfly tops! Those were my favorite. There were some iconic out there designs. (Showing my age...) I graduated 2001 from high school... Not bad remakes of y2k. Not completely y2k but close.

The black pants with the lace up sides, I LITERALLY had a pair of pants like that in 2002-2004 only with the shoe strings. I also had a corset top very similar to the matching top. So ya'll wrong, my senior year of HS I rocked that outfit almost exactly

On y2k, I was a junior in high school and these all bring back so many memories and, yes, back then these clothes were all school appropriate. We had no rules about length or strap size, etc. In the hotter months, I would wear the shortest boardshorts and a spaghetti strap crop top. The only rules we had were in relation to baseball caps, sports logos and visible tattooed and piercings (other than in the ears).

Y2K New Years was the best. Someone flipped the house breaker like the power went out. I didn’t wear any outfit like those. I was a tee shirt and normal jeans gal. Also that blue bra top looks like it could be used as a sleeping mask.
