Lol that’s called wisdom (knowledge applied), Covid has become very political and is being used to tear down and build up agendas. Not saying Covid was planned, but you can’t say it wasn’t prolonged when just about every other country has naturalized it except for us and we have therapeutic drugs... millennials have that arrogance that prevents them from cutting their ignorance
@twdjt62454 жыл бұрын
Elijah I’m fairly certain when most of them say that sentence....that they mean they think it was planned, purposefully caused, and/or people aren’t really dying and it’s just a hoax.....and you wanna know why every other country has neutralized it except for us? Visit your local bar/eat in restaurant....because I just passed two on my way back from grocery shopping...and here in FL they were PACKED. Not a mask in sight amongst the people walking in too. Don’t get me started on our beaches. When people in other countries had their recreational/social lives compromised because of covid, they said, “ok, that’s fair, safety first”, but here we protested in the streets, saying things like 5g caused covid, in order to get our schools, nail/hair salons, churches, beaches, playgrounds etc open, and before masks became mandatory in stores, half of us weren’t wearing them despite evidence and common sense, and some are causing scenes to try to continue to avoid wearing them. The difference is that other countries were willing to give up their short term pleasure and convieniences for long term safety. Unfortunately, we were not....and this will continue.
@elijah48404 жыл бұрын
@@twdjt6245 yeah... assigning extremes to them to make them look stupid. A lot of boomers think the numbers are a hoax, Colorado proved (factually) that their death rate was inflated by 20% and when you a have hospitals coming out and saying they get compensated $5k - $10k per covid patient, then you start to realize the motive behind the misdiagnosis. I believe covid happened naturally, pretty much how the news media has laid it out, but I don't think boomers are stupid for being skeptical or even thinking differently, I think that's called not being ignorant. Population control is an important issue for politicians/governments, a Clinton and supreme court justice (rbg) have both gone on record saying that abortion is useful for controlling the population. So, while I don't agree, no, they're not stupid for thinking that, millennials are ignorant for belittling any opinion that contradicts with their own. At least boomers can stand by their opinion and take the millions of people mocking them, forbid if a millennial gets mocked, they'll cry for a safe space and need counseling. For context, I'm in gen Z, I'm just sick of the young/middle aged "adults" in our society trashing the seniors that came before them, meanwhile they themselves are so politically correct they can barely formulate an original opinion that doesn't correspond with group think/trends. p.s. I'm not directing this at you and not all millennials are the same, but overall there tends to be a trend. I don't disagree about Americans, this is the most ignorant and uneducated (not referring to schooling or college) society America has ever had. I agree they can't give up short terms pleasures for long term gains, but I have to disagree with you that other nations neutralized covid by closing down. Some did, but not all. This response is already too long and you probably wouldn't believe me anyways, I suggest you look up the "herding method" and "hydroxychloroquine + zinc therapeutic"

I'm 57 and it's not denial. My millennial TCM doctor agrees that wearing glasses causes your vision to deteriorate. Everyone around me is wearing bi- and tri-focals and I wear the glasses with a slight correction that my 26 year old daughter no longer needs only for driving at night. My roommate jokes that I need longer arms but he's blind as a bat without his glasses. I think I'm onto something but too lazy to do vision exercises such as the Bates Method to confirm or deny. 😉 Either way, it's less of an inconvenience and expense to go without glasses which I find very unflattering in the first place. Anything over a 1.25+ correction for reading glasses is too much for me.
@monkiram4 жыл бұрын
@@skayea As a doctor myself, I think that you must have misunderstood your doctor. Eyeglasses do not cause your vision to deteriorate. They only make your vision without glasses seem worse because the contrast to your corrected vision makes you perceive your natural vision as fuzzier.

VCRs! They were beautiful things. I'm Gen-Z, and most of the movies I watched growing up were on VHS tapes (my parents owned some and we were gifted with quite a few). Star Wars, all the Disney classics, Shirley Temple movies (we had a ton of those, no clue why). Then the VCR broke☹ A sad day that was.
@iluvdissheet4 жыл бұрын
You're NOT a millennial! If you remember VCRs your Gen X/Y. No shade but Z is basically millenial. If you were a child during the 80's or 90's, you're not a millennial, call it what you want.
@hotjanuary4 жыл бұрын
iluvdissheet, millennials are not gen z. Gen y is the earlier marketing name for millennial. Gen X = 1965-1980 Millennials (gen y) = 1981-1995. Gen z = 1996-2015

1920 was not bad. It was the beginning of the best times in American history. The spanish flew was over, economic prosperity was achieved by many. WW1 was over. The called it the roaring 20's for a reason. People partied. Danced, had money. So I don't know what you are talking about.

@@alessm2206 the comment I am replying to is incorrect. The 20's were not as bad as the 30's The Great Depression or the 40's. Period. The poor have and always will be screwed, but even the poor in the 20's did not compare to the 30's. Not even the slightest. In fact even the poor and middle class got in on the stocks and started to do well, which is why after the crash, it was so devastating for everyone. My grandparents lived this time, and I know quite a lot about it. The comment is incorrect historically.
