Thanks for the tip, just fixed my non-HD pedal the same way. It looks like the rubber that holds the switch up is worn, so it doesn't fully depress anymore. A small bend of the tab fixed it right up 👍

Thanks! Almost bought a new potentiometer, but this is the right fix. At first I thought the pot was bad. Called service and they assumed a setting was off. This saves me $$ and time

Thanks for this. My brand new pedal that came with my Multimatic 220 had the same problem. The very slightest bend in the limit switch fixed it right up.

Unfortunately there are 2small rubber tabs that hold that switch at correct highs and they get smushed from the weightbof your foot and after a bit it will not hold it up at proper height and switch does not depress properly… yes this fix works.

man im working on the older model rfcs-14 and i cant get the gosh darn thing apart no screws in the bottom

Try pushing in the pins on the side where the peddle pivots.

That micro switch is about 10USD. What a shame the pedal cost 550USD.

Its a potentiometer not a dial.

Hopefully your potentiometer is not broken because they asked $75 for that stupid little thing. The little switch isn't that expensive about 50 bucks. But overall this pedal is about 250 at $300 and there was hardly anything in it. Miller has nice stuff but boy do they rip you off

The Miller foot contact switch part is *183629* SKU 7 15959 20119 3 And if your cord gets cut in half for RFCS-14HD the cord replacement is *Miller Electric 279684 cable control remote 20 ft 3 in 14 pin SKU 279684* It's considered 14 pin because that's what the barrel connector has although there's only five actual pins coming out of the cord. Hopefully this research may help somebody in need. Cheers

My wires are braking now and causing it to malfunction…. What a shame …. Way over priced shitty design.
