Gutsy W over the Oilers! Canucks had spirit, energy, and the shot-first mentality right out of the gate. 16 shots in the first period, that's something we barely had this season. Good game overall! BIG NOTE!!! 3-0 leads are never safe. Montreal went up 3-0 in the 1st period only to get stood up by 7 straight Toronto goals in a 7-3 loss in the earlier game.

To me, the highlight was the ref saying, "Uh, and two minutes to everyone else on the ice." I've never heard that before.

Just shows you what a clown fiesta the reffing is at the NHL. All that time discussing and that’s all he can come up with. People pay $100s of dollars to see this product where refereeing has such a huge impact on the outcome of the game and the ref can’t even make a clear call cuz someone else on the phone is yelling in his ear. Like who tf is controlling that game, not the stripes on the ice.

It should be the same..unless in the back vs in the throat is different in the verdict. But the refs missed a lot of damn goals tonight..garland held/interferred which was pretty bad. And I like garland..oilers.fan.

@@dana102083 Why the same when the Bouchard check was totally unprovoked?? Both deserve suspensions but Myers should get a bit more imo. That was a dirty hit for a guy skating up to you talking you check him across the face ,goof move!

Garland was holding onto mcdavid like the baby he is . He deserved what he got , myers cross checked bouchard for only beaking eachother. Completely different, myers deserves a suspension and mcdavid should get a fine at most, not to mention mcdavid barely even touched garland, while myers actually connected with bouchards face clearly. Anybody with a brain can see that.

Well Garland was holding him down and the ref missed the penalty so McDavid let his emotions get to him and checked him. But Myers with zero provocation ,Bouchard didn't even touch him he checked him hard . So both should get a suspension but Myers will get a longer suspension for sure and he deserves to ,can't just cross check a player to the face who didn't touch you.
