BRING THESE BACK, Miller!! Remaster THESE and then start intro'ing new folks in a month or two. But keep running THESE. At least ONE ad agency knew how to do it-!

I remember this spot well along with all the classic Miller Lite ads that began in 76. This one was gone rather quickly because Rizzuto's employer, the Yankees switched sponsorship from Miller to Budweiser after the 78 season.

I think the Met's were sponsored by Schaeffer at that time. Weren't the Yanks Rheingold way back in the day?

This one borrowed the punch line from the old Bob Hope joke on his annual Christmas Special. After introducing the college football All-America team, Bob and the players would gather in a huddle, and THEN, a gorgeous young lady in a bathing suit would stroll by, immediately breaking up the huddle.

@@chadcrudup2088 Okay thanks. Whose the guy at the end who says I still don't understand why they asked me to do this commercial?
@chadcrudup20883 жыл бұрын
@@nickhill8612 That is "Marvelous" Marv Throneberry who was famous for being a pretty poor fielding first baseman on some terrible NY Mets teams in their early days. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marv_Throneberry
