Get the lower temp thermostat in ECS tuning for some extra cooling...

It sits about 170* normal driving consistently. Only really goes up when we run the mountain hard . Then it’ll get to 210 at most .

Hey man how’s the long term reliability with the tune any problems? And how big a difference is it compare to stock Thank you!

Did you flash it with your M5 on? I just flashed BM3 on my M5 and after it said it finisged succesfully it just cranks and doesnt start i have to flash it back to stock for it to be able to actually turn over.

How much did it cost to do the bm3. I'm thinking of getting the DME tune but thats $2200
@MBTVEXTRA3 жыл бұрын
$900 or so , I already had the laptop , and both cords required to do it . I didn’t buy any extra maps either . I knew I wouldn’t use them

@@MBTVEXTRA thats way cheaper than DME. Have you dynoed it ? Or have any idea how much power its putting down? Also how are the clutches holding up?
@MBTVEXTRA3 жыл бұрын
@@blumpkin721 haven’t dynod it yet , plan you sometime once I get more mods done this spring , and around 700 crank hp, clutches are holding up completely fine , going to do an XHP flash on it at some point before spring

Hi, did you use a battery charger during this flashing? Trying to find out if you absolutely need a charger or not, thanks!

I have a M5 sorry

I never did stage 1 but I always recommend NGK step 2 colder plugs . 2 steps colder than stock , I’d recommend them even on a stock car . Also recommend delphi coilpacks
