Before I hear one syllable… absolutely overjoyed to see you smoking a cigar. This dame loves a cigar by the fireside listening to someone as passionate about philosophy as you. I look forward to entangling more of your thought, which in my world is precisely one hour old. Oh yeah! When the student is ready, the teacher shall come…

Thank you for doing these readings and reflections for -free publicly- you're reminding me with these cigars that smoking was considered a ritual, I never thought "Libidnal Materalist" was actually made for the people to ease their tension and give them an object of desire. Socrates was for sure annoying and can be considered ugly and still having him as a "henchman" won't be a good idea.

Philosophy waxes and wanes in societal influence when it's sequestered, but remains undeniable by nature, awaiting encounter. As America veers socialist, justifying success, laundering it let's say, more often requires buy-in of some sort of defensible philosophy. The "greatest" financial successes then, must at least appear as philosophical pariahs, calling attention back to that which is undeniable, forcing encounters. Ultimately, then, this social pressure serves to maintain philosophy as influential in the modern economy-focused America and God willing can serve to correct our direction. Men like Naval and Elon, the guys on the All In podcast, and even Bezos and Zuckerburg, serve to reintroduce philosophy, watered down as it may be, to the otherwise uninitiated.

The Socrates bust never struck me as ugly. But incidentally, I'm actually publishing a list on the top 10 good looking mathematicians this week. Got any views on that? I take physicists and computer scientists too.

There are current philosophers that say that philosophy is to disorder the soul, because order is capitalism (?)

I recall Derrida saying deconstruction is justice in a similar vein. I think Michael’s explanation is associated with right-wing political theory which posits there is a transcendental ideal that human life ought to be oriented around - whether it’s God’s will, virtue, etc. Or, his comment at least reminds me of TheDistributist’s video “To be right-wing in 9 points.”

Hello, I was analyzing your KZbin channel. your you tube SEO score is zero. It should be increased. and subscribers ,views , like, comments is very low according to your channel age. This is why your you tube growth is very low and your channel setup is also having many problems. If, you can solve this problems your channel will grow and be famous very quickly.
