The aflata is just the banku you make before adding the uncooked dough . Copy right this millet kenkey oo lol 😆. I can tell this will taste good looking at how soft it is . Thanks for sharing sis 👍

The only thing that influence me to make my own kenkey is if I'm living outside Ghana. Period. 😂. I'm surrounded by so many sellers.. Why bother with all the work 🤣.

Aflata is when you cook the third portion of the dough. When you mix it with the other 2 portions, there is no particular name for it, we just call it raw kenkey in our house. Might try this millet Otin one day. Good job.

Kindly find the link to the dough below. kzbin.info/www/bejne/aKW4ZI15rcmIfNU PRESERVATION. Once it cools down completely, you can put it in your fridge and warm it when you want to have it. I always warm it with water and let it boil over even when I am using the microwave 😊. Much love to you too❤

Sis, what’s the best way to store kenkey for a longer time, if prepped in bulk.

Once they cool down, you can tie them in plastic wraps. It will last for about 3 days on the shelf. Best to keep it in your refrigerator which can go for a couple of weeks. It's like to become hard over time. You will have to boil it for a couple of minutes which will bring it back to the initial consistency 😊
