The older Menendez brother is relatable in a really strange way for me personally. I would never harm my family, but just the way he deals with emotions and compartmentalizes. Having selective empathy; on one hand being very emotional and introspective but on the other hand blocking everything out that is difficult to the point it borderlines pathological. If my parents died in a car crash or something and me and my brother were going to speak at the funeral I would totally be the one that gets high on coke and a bit drunk and plans out the entire procession, telling my brother to stfu and stop crying when we are about to walk in and then play a weird song that only has meaning to me.
