Just happy you back Simeon. I miss your posts over 24 hours inbetween. Do not take this wrong way, time your dad was on a loader and younger guys on the logs and cuts. I guess you cannot tell him that though. My dad was the same. .

All that beautiful sawdust. I love the smell of fresh cut wood. I guess it is a memory thing. My father was a cabinet maker, and I loved the smell of the workshop.

Nice video. I enjoyed watching the fine job your dad and brother did milling that beautiful oak. The Woodmizer did a fine job too, great piece of equipment.

Recently discovered your channel. This channel has become a favorite of mine because you explain your methods and techniques and the advanatges and disadvantages of them. This is important for anything I may wish to attempt for myself. In an earlier video you show a method for sowing potatos by covering with mulch and or straw and or woodchips. The potatos under the woodchips were growing much better. How do you use the sawdust from the mill? Have you used it with potatos or other plants in yourgarden? It would be a great experiment compared to wood chips since it is the same material just a different size.

Sawdust is perfect for growing blueberrys or other types of plants that like a high acidity in the soil.

Great to see the family working together, you father must be proud of you and your brother, you both work so hard. Did your dad say that the customer had his own kiln to dry the wood? Very interesting. Cheers!
@simeonandalex7 жыл бұрын
Yes. The customer has a sawmill and a workshop if I understood it correctly.
