Welcome to America! I'm always glad to see legal immigrants coming in and am amazed at the self sufficiency that most of them bring here.

You made a terrible mistake coming to America where we now have a social cultural political battle to protect children. You have exposed your children to the agenda to destroy the family by pushing transgenderism. You should have moved to Russia where the government gives incentives to raise & grow your family as well as assist farmers. It is also a strong Christian based society that is not being exposed to the cultural poisons of the West. There are many in the comments section just giving you platitudes and no definite direction. The truth is hard to accept when you have made a mistake. Big big mistake.

I used to be a vegetarian (from the age of 10- almost adulthood). My reasoning is that I couldn’t eat something that I couldn’t morally harvest myself. I ended up getting chickens. Turns out, I can morally harvest meat myself now! Hoping to move onto bigger livestock, and give back to my community with the meat

Fantastic. Even your last comment about throwing it over a loaded trailer isn't any problem to me. I'd just open it, set it ready, and chuck it over. I'm going downstairs to go do it before i forget. Great stuff !

When I was still fishing, I would dig a hole and put the remains in my garden after cleaning, it worked great for my plants. Haven't started using blood or bone meal until these later years and have had good results with it. I have always dug a hole with my post hole digger and added my compost before planting tomato's, never had issues that a lot of my friends have with no blooms and all leaves, still have to stay on blossom end rot at times, I agree that tomato's will grow roots laying on the side, just easier for me to contain my rows going deeper. I like the ideal of blood, fish and bone meal mix as a fertilizer and believe it should really help corn production, but I haven't put any effort into it yet. Not an organic farmer and have no plans to change at this point, I believe we get more harm done to our bodies by other choices than how we grow our vegetables.

Ridiculous to think plants feel anything similar to an animal. Plant intelligence does not include a central nervous system- to even have to explain this is worrisome.

some of the worst arguments against Veganism I've heard and Joel Salatin is set to head the USDA. could be a plus for veganism in the sense of eliminating factory farming, but given the poor arguments I've heard here, he'll probably be convinced that factory farming is good too.
@supermario69kraftgami2320 күн бұрын
Humane farming is no better for them. I'm worried that he's gonna make veganism seem less necessary by greenwashing animal farming.
@vegan-rising20 күн бұрын
@@supermario69kraftgami23 one positive thing about Joel is that he is definitely against factory farming. I'm giving him the benefit of the doubt. we'll see what happens.

Watch "The Finish Lumberjack". The cuts are NOT supposed to line up. The back cut is supposed to be about an inch to two inches above the bottom of the face cut, this prevents the butt of the tree from sliding backwards. The goal is to leave a board in the middle of the tree that will flex and act as a hinge when the tree falls down. This prevents the tree from falling side to side. The most important thing is never cut the holding wood too deep, like you did in this video.

I will try it, however, I currently just put each strap into its own clear ziploc bag, which keeps them separated and untangled. I think I spend about the same amount of time taking them out of each bag and adjusting them for use, as I would rolling up for storage. So I'm not sure which method will be best for me.

You can weld the broken side. The cast iron has to be heated at least a couple of hundred degrees before welding it. I have a wood burning stove that has two eyes and I have cooked on the more than a few times. Unfortunately I am an apartment dweller at the moment. For those that aren't familiar with wood burning stoves and heaters, the plates on the top heated surface are referred to as "eyes" that can be lifted out so a pot or pan can get hot faster.
