To speed up the process a little, you can use a simple laser to find the high spot, mark it and then take your router to that spot and set the height.

Still trying to decide which bit was the most impressive ... the size of the router jig ... the size of the router ... or the fact that it took four of you to lift the slab of wood!! Looks like a fantastic piece of kit ... I've seen these carbide cutter heads a few times but this is the first I've seen one in use .... the quality of the finish is pretty damn good👍

Yes, the cutter works very well. And the weight of the slab is about 200 kg, its thickness is 100-120mm.

@@WOODDESIGN6730 Holy **** ... that's one big lump of wood! The only problem with the jig is the sheer size of it and how to store it ... a bit of a pain having to (potentially) disassemble and prop up against a wall each time if you don't have a massive workshop ... you could possibly attach it to a wall with hinges I suppose (if you have a big wall free) , folding it down for use and back up again for storage .... lovely piece of kit 👍

Nawet jeżeli sanie do rutera są sponsorowane (no i co z tego?) to film wart obejrzenia. Szczególnie jeśli ktoś zamierza robić coś w wielkim formacie. Ciekawi mnie na ile równomierną grubość uzyskuje się na tym urządzeniu. Sprawdzałeś do stalowej listwy wzorcowej pod światło po obróbce? Psinek pierwszorzędny aktor. Ma mądre spojrzenie. Ktoś już prosił wcześniej o więcej jego ujęć - przyłączam się do tej prośby.
