I have watched many of your videos and not subscribed till watching this one. the reason... my wife and I make a lot of motorcycle trips together and sometimes I go with the guys on trips, and I find myself thinking what a great time my wife would have on the trip while I'm taking it. Even though you enjoyed your ride you can see in your face something is wrong. You miss your wife. Thanks for the videos. My father in-law and I are planning a bucket list ride for next May from East TX to the Million Dollar Hwy and surrounding areas and back 2300 miles in 8 days.

Barbara, you’re not alone. My mom was just the same. She’d stare fixedly to the left when the downslope was on her side of the car. After seeing this video, I’m not sure (as another flatlander) that I could ride that highway either.

Great video! I don't know what kind of camera you have, but wow! The video was excellent! We're headed MDH next week and I just happened on your channel. I know, and appreciate, your commentary about riding solo and leaving your bride behind. Thanks for keeping it real! Thanks again for sharing the ride!

You’re welcome! We actually just got back from another trip out there a couple weeks ago, video coming soon. Check out our FB and IG also. Oh! Make it a point to get to Telluride. Not far from Ouray, maybe 1.5 hours, so worth the trip. Beautiful town.

Thanks so much for posting this. I'm 60 and alone and I wanted to buy one last motorcycle and do things like this before it's too late. But, the corona virus has hit the country and now I'm starting to think I may never get the chance to do this. So for now I live and dream through videos like this. You have no idea how much I appreciate your time and effort into doing this for us out here who can't right now. Stay safe and take care. ( oh P.S. I am dreaming of the Indian Chieftain darkhorse or the new challenger) God Bless

I rode the Million Dollar Highway last August on the way to Sturgis, we went the other direction from Durango to Silverton and then stayed the night in Ouray as well. It was an amazing ride for sure.

Absolutely love this video. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Looks like an amazing ride. I can see why your wife was so scared! Those roads are similar to the dragon in TN but these are more open so you can actually see the decline off the cliff it’s not like you’re in the forest and there’s trees all around. I loved the emotion and how you speak about your wife! Made the video so much more special! Glad you were able to film this trip and be able to take it. I’m sure it’s one of the best rides to do here in the US.

@@TwoIndians I have been on both at least 3... maybe 4 times. Beartooth is amazing but not scary... just amazing. Like million dollar highway... stay on the road... all is good. The weather the last time was rain and clouds on the pass so could not even see switchbacks!!! And was a degree away from snowing so watch weather. We stopped heading for glacier because of weather each trip so will try again someday. Ride safe. Funny to watch videos and say “wow... I don’t remember seeing that”. Sometimes too busy watching traffic or animals...

When going through the mountains where there are drop offs don't look down them, keep your eyes looking ahead of you. Another thing that helps is staying towards the centerline and not the shoulder side.

This is one of my favorite videos you have posted, great chats about you and the wife. Someday I hope to rode million dollar highway! Me and my wife have also never taken a separate vacation, we have been married 8 years and have been together for 12 years. I would feel a little guilty leaving her behind to go ride alone, but she tells me I can go. I enjoy her riding on the back of me, she does most of the vlogging from the passenger seat. Were from a small town a few hours from NYC and we have traveled quite a bit so far on my road glide! Great video, love your content
