Everyday, 5 flight of stairs is going to get old quick, though it is the most attractive. I would have guessed he would have chosen the first house because he could have written-off over half as a business expense or the second one because it looked more 'family' oriented, anyway, must be nice to be in the financial position to consider such choices, sigh.
