Actually,BILL FINGER created most everything you recognize as BATMAN and his likeness and mythos. Kanes Batman was a blonde haired guy in a red suit with wings and a little Robin eye mask!! The look,the cave, the car.....all Bill Finger. Bob Kane was a massive blowhard.

I was wondering around the 1975 Comic-Con in San Diego and began a conversation with an older gentleman about a 1/2 hour before the convention floor opened and did not even know I was conversing with Jack Kirby himself until I noticed his non-descript nametag on his shirt. As soon as the hall opened I rushed and snagged a copy of a comic he covered and had him sign it.

I came across some old books dating late 1800s to early 1900s. Some were school books, some appeared to be novels. I looked up a couple really quick on eBay and saw they were only going for about $5-$10. Would you go back and buy them all for about $200? There’s roughly 60 books.

I'm going to estimate, once graded with a good chunk of those comics, the locker will go for around 175k. The cat 'Frazetta' looking piece is indeed a parody/homage of a Conan the Barbarian piece. As far as the Pulp magazines go, Weird Tales is king. The Vampirella stuff is great too, from the 70's. Creepy/Eerie with Frazetta covers are worth some coin. Agree too, the Conan based novels aren't worth a whole lot but they will sell. The Savage Sword of Conan is a John Buscema/Ernie Chan piece which is incredibly desirable that would be around 1500 or even more.

Not to sound negative just my experience right now on ebay. Even if something was worth thousands the demand right now is very slow. Most of that stuff will sit for some time. There might be some of it that goes quick based on some of thr collector out there needing it. I do think we are looking at around 250k to 300k before fees but around 175k maybe 200k after fees taxes all that jazz. Still from $50 that is straight up legend status.
