David's words and reactions to Olivia already indicated that he was remorseful and willing to make up for all that was lost with the boys. Olivia was careful to remind him that it was for the sake of the boys and David understood that. I am sure Olivia could sense that David wanted to get back with her too, this time 'for real' but she had to be sure his relationship with the boys worked, first. And also that he was being genuine this time and had learnt his lesson. With that background all the rest would fall in place; the 'reimbursement - although it may come in other forms, the funds for the kids...etc. Just thinking....😂

Beautiful story. We were hoping it would come from you that the two got back together to a much more meaningful relationship, but the suspense you left us in is still okay. Its upto each reader to join the dotted lines to where they would like the story to lead or end. The graphics person needs to make the picture reflect the setting of the story by depicting the boys as teenagers. Otherwise, great lesson on absentee - parenthood. David was lucky Olivia didnt decide to settle personal scores at the expense of the kid's right to know their father. Great work, again! Keep it up!

In this part of Africa where I come from, Olivia could have been stigmatized as being a loose woman - having born two children with no father in the picture. In such a societies, it would have been a common thing for Olivia to take the children to the village to be taken care of by her aging parents while she works hard in the city to support them financially. With the children out of the way, she could have entered into another relationship, hopefully a better one. Still, at one point she would have had to let her new partner know about the boys. Again, this revelation has the possibility of leading the relationship in any direction,good or bad. With the kids in the village, David may have never had the chance to realize that he had had children with Olivia. That's one side of it.

This story kinda confusing cause it seems like he didn't know that she was pregnant but going on it seems like he knew then again when did they exchange numbers strange and are they twins, but nice, you did a good job narrating ❤❤

True, he didn't know she was pregnant at the time he left her 15 years before, but when he met her again with the two boys who resembled him, he started thinking of that possibility. You made a good observation: when did she get his phone number in order to call him again?
