I once gave a homeless man a double cheeseburger and some French fries and he reached in his pocket and tried to give me money for it. I almost cried and told him that defeats the purpose of doing something out of the goodness of your heart and that his money was no good with me. He said"are you sure?" And tears welled up in his eyes because it had been so long since he Was shown any compassion or kindness ,that broke my heart. We talked and ate our food and that was 6 months ago. Now he is my roommate because at time of our meeting I was living in my car but still working. I got him a job with me and he proved to have a better work ethic than me ,I guess you could say it is a symbiotic relationship because we help each other out and bring out the best in each other. It was like God directed us to each other.

It is true you do not have to be rich to help. I once met a man on a bike on a very cold Canadian day. He asked if I could help him out with some money. I reacjed in my pocket and gave him a ten dollar bill. As soon as I gave it to him I realized that was tje last of my money with another week till payday. I gave it anyways. As I left that man a small wind stirred up and a twenty dollar bill was blown to my feet. I have never since that day worried, if I see someone in need, I help. I knew a man like this once. He was very wealthy but lived on the streets. He had a huge house that he let homeless people sleep in and he fed anyone who asked. I use to make big pots of soup with him for people. He himself lived on $5 a day. This was beautiful!

My wife and I were traveling to see her grandparents. We stopped to get something to eat, and when we walked in I noticed a man that looked like he was going through some hard times. What really got to me was his shoes, they were literally falling off his feet. We ate quickly, I watched him the whole time. People acted like he wasn't there. I had recently bought a pair of new shoes that I kept telling my wife that I just loved 😁. I went straight to the car and got a new pair of socks; went back inside, handed him the socks, asked his shoe size, got on the floor and gave him those shoes. This video made me smile extra big. Never judge. My dad himself looked homeless. People will judge him until my brothers and I rolled up. Then the shock on their faces when they see three college educated children this 'homeless' man paid for. We would get in my brand new car (he purchased as a grad gift) and ride.🥰🥰🥰 My dad used to get a big kick outta it. I wear raggedy clothes, hair is long sometimes, prison style tattoos. I’ve seen people grab their kids and pull them aside when I’m alone without my own kids. Then people see my wife. My two little perfectly groomed kids, my comfortable life (not rich at all) lifestyle and scratch their heads. All of my bosses years later come to me and say I didn’t think you’d last 3 months and here I am the favorite employee.

As a south african I love Canada. Wish to visit someday.I watched a video on Canada, Canada gave south africans around 1200 work visa, the people who went there were already rich and were happy to start earning canadian dollars, but when they went there the cost of living in Canada scared them they came back. The broke person may not have anything to eat, but the rich man doesn't even scratch his bank account. Plus when a rich man donates they can write off in tax, poor folks just give it out of generosity. I appreciate both, but one is getting some benefits in return. I appreciate this guy, yeah he may get some views but it seems genuine that he feels good doing it. I've seen homeless people giving and sharing to others, that's real.

Beautiful his prayer was answered that day, so he knew God hears him and is listening. Our Heavenly Father is always there and always listening and contrary to popular belief, all of our prayers are answered - just sometimes we don’t get the answer we want. Like any parent, even a Heavenly Father, sometimes you have to tell your children no. But that day this gentleman found out He’s listening and hears his prayers. His grateful tears had me crying and I still have a lump in my throat... Prayers for God’s mercy regardless of how for his daughter and granddaughter...
