*IRL Lissette here* I have to say I actually laughed most of the time while watching this, and probably had the same reaction when I think about myself all these years ago. I also agree with everything you're saying - too bad the video editors of this didn't include me saying the things that actually matter - but "likes" or online validation don't pay the bills!! And more people need to talk about this. Simply ~having~ a certain # of followers on Instagram is not how you monetize it. To add to your happy ending: thankfully over the years I did monetize it and never left my 9 to 5 career - and, well, now it's just a business investment I could've been smarter and more efficient about. But alas, early 20s me knew ZERO about finance and credit (can I get an amen for points?!). Thanks for sharing, this was great. Let's connect sometime! x
