Graham I love it every time you talk about Ramsey. I know this doesn't necessarily tie in to your "brand" (at all, lol) but I do hope you do a video about/with him in it one day. Maybe like, how much I spend on my pet cat in a month...? Or a video seeing if you can get cheaper versions of expensive pet toys/accessories with the same quality. Or putting him on a BARF/Raw diet (that's usually seen as more expensive, but healthier for the animal) and seeing how it compares, price wise, to traditional wet/dry food. Love your videos!

You ain't finding no Q8 for 45000. That model literally just came out. Cars with that specific design are notoriously good value holders, stuff like the X6, the GLE Coupe, the Q8, the Urus etc.
@edwink1467
@edwink1467 4 жыл бұрын
Uhhhh no they are not "notoriously good value holders." No cars, luxury or mainstream, are "notoriously good value holders" unless they are special, like being a super/hyper car, the limited edition model, or discontinued models that are desirable. Think something like the Mercedes SLS AMG Black Series, McLaren P1, the original Ford GT, the original Toyota Supra, the original Land Rover Defender, etc. These cars barely lost any value over the years and some even appreciated, but notice how you almost NEVER see them on the streets? That's because they are *rare!* But a mass produced Audi or BMW SUV that's available on your local Audi or BMW dealer's lot? Lol they will be worth 1/2 or even 1/3 of their original MSRP within a couple of years of ownership. Those Mercedes AMG or BMW M models do hold their values a little better than their regular counterparts, but still nowhere near being "notoriously good value holders." Go on any used car website and search for them yourself. A 2016 BMW X6 xDrive35i can be purchased for $26-30K depending on mileages, but a brand new one easily costs over $75K depending on trim level and options. You call cars that lose $45K or 60% in value in five years "notoriously good value holders?" However, the last car on your list, the Lamborghini Urus, is different and shouldn't be put on the same list since it costs at least three to four times as much as the other SUVs on the same list because well... it's a Lamborghini...

With under 10,000 miles the q8 is selling for $50-55,000 . So much for “good value holders” . The only good value holder Audi makes is last gen manual R8’s . Even regular r8’s lose hundreds of thousands.

I'm an appraiser and I have met this guy. Most appraiser's make around $150k a year if they are working 5-6 days a week (a lot of the older ones make $75k a year and work 3 days a week). Most of us also own investment properties and hold a real estate agent license. The reason the number of appraiser's is so low it the high barrier to entry. You need a college degree and then a 2 year apprenticeship which is often unpaid or only paid at minimum wage. Most people with college debt can't afford to live on minimum wage for 2 years or go 2 years without being paid. However, the income is good, you set your own schedule, and you can normally type your reports from home and because of our many connections we can normally get properties around 20% below market when we buy them. I'm also younger than this guy so it's not all old folks some of us sucked it up did the 2 years eating ramen and are now enjoying the income and freedom that comes with appraising.
