As someone who has become pretty well off financially- I STILL don’t live like that in NYC, not because I can’t, but I have something in me that inherently will not allow me to literally waste money. I cook at home every day, and honestly, it’s better. It’s healthier & you don’t have to deal with people & trains, taxis etc. And it’s actually fun. There is no coffee worth $6. There is no beer worth $10. There is no dingy “room” in NYC that’s worth paying for the “atmosphere”. It’s all a bunch nonsense.

I saw one of his vids and he explained when he was young, his parents were struggling to survive in America since they were the first generation of his family who immigrated and were on food stamps, so, probably Elliot finally relishing his life by not caring how much he spends per a week or month since he works as a trader and software engineer (sorry if he wasn’t)as well as a KZbinr who got over a million subs. So, maybe let him be until he grows and learns life lessons (For me, going cafes over 3times a day is too much😅)since it’s his life and I’m actually pretty much motivated by watching his videos cause he earns it, by not relying on his parents (I assume)even sometimes it’s totally different perspective he has since he’s a gen-Z😅❤

Graham, I LOVE your videos and I totally agree with everything you say. As a person who is trying to save some money, your tips are really helpful. However, I am just thinking that not everyone really HAS to save money - I mean, if this guy is making, let's say 20K a month and spends 5K between rent and groceries, he probably doesn't have the need to cut costs that much. With certain income tresholds, I guess they can easily spend a lot and still save a lot. Unfortunately, not in my case though.

He spends money likes it's nothing. Kinda hurts watching. I am frugal and wouldn't spend this money on food. INSANE Imagine when he needs emergency.
