I will say that Michael Lorber, who has become a major real estate agent in NYC, came on the show way too early in his career when he really didn't know much. I think if the Michael Lorber of 10 years later had been on the show he would also have been a star too. It's too bad they spent all that time with Luis, who it turns out is not the nicest person in the world. He's had a few legal issues and is, in fact, no longer in the real estate game.

Ryan Serhant, the star of Million Dollar Listing, explains how he got into real estate. He moved to New York City in 2006 to pursue a career in acting, but when that didn't work out, he got his real estate license in 2008. His first day on the job was the day Lehman Brothers filed for bankruptcy, but he found success in the industry and eventually landed a role on the New York version of Million Dollar Listing in 2010. The show propelled his career and made him a household name in the real estate world. However, he left the show after 10 years because he felt that the world had changed and the focus of the show had shifted away from the real estate market.

However, that changed this year and starting January 2023- I will be enrolling in the online courses to get my license because I was approved to apply for it! It’s not that bad really. Just read the book and do the lessons. I’m in California and passed the exam my first try. I’ve also known of someone who failed it 9 or 13 times. I’m not sure which. 😂 Anything new has anxieties. Just study and invest in your own future.

It is one of the largest asset management companies in the world with US$3.9 trillion under management and US$43.3 trillion under custody and administration. It is the largest custodian bank in the world, providing securities services and it is considered a systemically important bank by the Financial Stability Board. Ryan, I was 19 when I first saw the show back i2012. I remember it so well. Time really flies. That little clip you showed was my first introduction to you. On MDLNY. You’ve had a huge fan from Barbados since that year. And I tracked your progress every since up to this day. It’s amazing how you grew. The ideas you had to sell apartments that were challenging.
