The introduction was extremely professional with the drone footage and commentary. Excellent job Noah. Nice house on the pond. When the developer builds all the new homes, I hope he leaves the pond for everyone to enjoy instead of filling it in so he can build a couple more homes. 33:20

I noticed most of the windows were brand new, some still had the tags on them. Definitely could have been saved, they could have reworked the neighborhood design around this beautiful home. I know some would disagree with me, but if a house is being demolished and people are taking things to repurpose them, that's not as big of a deal. So you know, what you called a timer, was a the thermostat this place had electric heat. At least in this case, the developer did get in trouble for removing trees they weren't supposed to.

That home would've been so beautiful if it weren't for the vandals! I can't stand anyone that purposely distroyed something that doesn't belong to them. I love the style of the home. That kitchen would've been nice. I'd love to have it. I could do alot of cooking! Lol

That would have been an amazing house. The livingroom with the beams and that stunning fireplace...the country kitchen with the wood cupboards and porcelain knobs...just nice. Noah, you always scare the hell out of me when you walk up stairs without a banister and OMG, I thought my heart was going to stop when you opened the door...to a huge drop...not once, but twice. Gees man. Anyway, the fireplace in the basement was impessive also and what struck me is that I hardly saw signs of mold in the place. Another great explore!! Thanks for sharing

What a shame. I’d say parts of the house were from the 50’s at the latest as the colored bathroom fixtures were popular then. The harvest gold stove in the basement was 70’s for sure. One of the more popular colors. I think the cedar closet started out as something else because the insulation was in the boarded up window. It looks like they covered quite a few windows in the house along with a few doors, like one at the bottom of the original staircase. Not too unusual in a major renovation like it had at least once in the past.

Great find! Great video. You are right I believe about additions being added on either side of original home. It's disgusting that kids got in there and smashed everything in sight! The owners made their own wine (I could tell by the wine cellar) and they might have been Italian. (hooks for hanging prosciutto too). Did you know that windows have a date stamped on them? You could narrow it down within a few years of when they were installed. But in that house there were hardly any windows left!

Obviously was goin through a remodel when the owners were bought out. That is a nice one, would like to have seen it in it's day, seems like everybody is selling out these days. Thanks for the tour Noah! PS: Calm down, I know of no such spiders that attack. 👍👍👍👍

The texture tiles in the bathroom were typical from the 1970 same as the green or blue bath and sink and the big fireplace were all the rage in the 1970 did you notice that the stones were the same as the ones on the front of the house such a shame that they wanted to get rid to build other houses in its place I bet it was lovely when it was newly built real cool basement I would love to have lived there great video guys i loved looking around.

I realize that this was over a year ago, but just so you know, the rack with the vertical slats in the kitchen is for serving platters, cookie sheets, cake pans, cutting boards, charcuterie boards, etc. They sit on their side so that they don't get scratched up by nesting them and you can easily access the pan, platter, cutting board, etc. that you need instead of having to lift a big stack of pans and platters out to get the one on the bottom of the pile. I hope that makes sense. If I could figure out how to insert a picture I would include a picture of mine with cookie sheets and cutting boards. I always love your vids! Keep it up!

I know of many situations people build dream houses renovate older ones & even smaller dwellings then this once beautiful house. Then find out a short time later that the area is soon to being developed within blocks away .So they sell, move out or whatever. In some cases they will purchase the land around their house and property to repel that. Nothing worse than trying to get away from the rat race and then the rat race follows you when your looking for peace and quiet. Just think you have your dream home built and developers want to build mega huge large sub-divisions close by thats just plain terrible. It is very important to research your area first where you want to build your dream home, the job market & opportunities, etc. in that immediate area. Also possible new industries moving in ,companies that may bring many job possibilities.Another thing is the flooding risk is very important too check with Fema website in your area. Just make sure your away from large towns, cities that have jobs in your area and are growing .Buyer beware is the old saying in finding a location! Im sure this could of been the case would of liked to hear teh story from the previous owners .........

I hope the pond will be spared destruction as the rest of nature had been as well as a once beautiful home. I bet developer hired thugs to destroy the home to keep squatters out. Usually degenerate kids would not work so hard to destroy every single thing....this looks like a paid job well done.

2 of those electrical panels appear to be the older pushmatic breaker type, which were common in the postwar years, but have been obsolete for about 55 years now. The square shape and the fact that they were the only push-button breakers ever used in construction makes them stand out from a distance if you know about them like I do.

That house restored would have been awesome I don't know how much land it had with it but someone would have had to couch up ALOT of money for me to sale it or it'd be sitting in the middle of a subdivision especially with that lake

A crowd of teenagers and a few scrappers finished it off sadly. Only the original family refusing the developers offers would have kept it. Ancient houses on my street the same thing Big offer. Sold! I learned after that the one senior who owned the 100 years old place said she only would sell on condition that it was not a Developer buying it and it remained intact. He lied through his teeth and knocked it down. Boom they were all replaced with modern "plastic" condos. I'm surprised the bathroom wasn't ruined. Edit The "Random stove" is actually from 1976/77 I had one just like it and I remember them new as a child. They basically lasted almost forever only junked because of the colour (in my situation as well because the matching fridge broke down badly and I was forced to replace it (and only white or silver and red available)

They may have thought to renovate the house but after the vandalism that idea got scrapped. The reason I say this, the stickers on the windows, the extra flooring in the basement and in one of the rooms it looked like a large paint can. That would have been a beautiful property. But, geesh Brandon, there really was no need to have Noah display all the wildlife still living in the basement 😱😆

Heart felt along with you about the vandals. They hate everything. Enjoy destroying. It is easy to break things. Takes skill and sweat equity to make things.
