Let’s say Shakur did duck Haney Isaac Cruz, William Zepeda, George Kambosos, Frank Martin, and Loma. That’s 5 of the most premier lightweights in the world who have factually turned down Shakur. And these aren’t obscure stories being spread like gossip, most of these turn downs were open. George said no on Twitter, as did Loma…and Oscar De La Hoya said he blocked the fight from happening with Zepeda. Now Loma’s case might not be a blatant duck because Loma said he wanted to finish up with Haney, cool. But Haney is at 140 now and there was rumors that Loma was going to fight Kambosos. If that fight happens next, that’s a fight between two guys who have openly turned down a Shakur fight. Even if Shakur has a case of ducking against himself, that doesn’t automatically mean he’s not an extremely feared commodity at his weight division. Luckily, Edwin De Santos is taking the fight. That’s going to be an incredible matchup.

Furthermore, frank was demanding a 50-50 w/o any leverage & also on record saying to be the top dawg you have to beat the top dawg & he would’ve accepted 25% if he was shakur… on the other hand shakur didn’t demand 50-50, he just wanted more than 25% which is reasonable if it’s true that would net him less than what he made his last 3 fights. Frank was getting his biggest pay day.
