There are too many "preachers" preaching a bloodless, cross-less and repentance-free gospel. It’s wonderful to hear this from you. Most people who go to church have a Bible but only use it for show. They put it down when they get home and never pick it up again until they’re walking out the door to go to church. Another thing some pastors do is tell their goers is to ignore the Old Testament and only use the New Testament which is apostasy because the Bible is one book not two halves. The NT is the continuation of the OT. There is so much that brings them together that we need to know to understand it completely. We never buy a book and only read half and ignore the rest.

Works are performed by the will of the Holy Spirit, you must have faith that He exists and act in your being. The Holy Spirit is the helper that Jesus Christ sent when He went to the Father. A person who has faith but does not exercise that faith outwardly, to others it APPEARS to not exist. It doesn't mean that his faith doesn't exist. James is pointing out that a person can say that they have faith but that faith isn't evident if a person can't see it. James is saying you SAY you have faith but if he can't see a believer exercise his faith through actions it appears dead. Anyone can claim to be a Christian. Most Christians in these days do not exercise their faith outwardly. How many believers do you see witnessing the gospel, the command of the Great Commission? Works spoken of here is not merely working in a soup kitchen or giving money to a church, etc, as unbelievers do this and they have no faith. It is talking about Christian works of obeying God's command to preach the gospel, to support the body of Christ, etc, things pertaining to the kingdom, those things commanded by Christ. Let me ask you a question, how many people have you led to Christ this year? Is your faith active or dead?

This message of good works will send your loved ones to Hell. Salvation has zero to do with your good works. It is all God's work on the cross, His salvation and not your ability to be good. The narrator is saying that people will think they know Christ, but if they continue to sin and are unchanged, the fruits of the spirit will bear witness, and reveal who we actually serve. You cannot serve 2 masters. Do we say we know him and still work iniquity? (Break the commandments) Works will not save, which IS another point of that verse. But those works are being done by those who use his name and believe they are saved, why else use his name. Certainly we cannot change ourselves, it is by his grace, which we ask for and believe into EVERY moment, lest the adversary find a foot hold. A relationship is always active, not passive. People seem to believe Grace means they just sit and rest, show up occasionally, and continue business as usual, cause Yeshua has it all. Yet, he tells us to sin no more, how can we do that unless we actively ask for that grace continually? That means showing up at the foot of the cross regularly.

@@lunasatorired I agree with everything you just said. But it is also our choice to be obedient and to seek him for strength for our obedience. People who actively practice sin and live like a devil will not make it into the kingdom. Our God has standards, you can’t love worldly and consider yourself born again and I think that’s the point he’s trying to make. We have a relationship with God and we have to work with him, we can’t expect him to do it all for us. We have to choose to have faith, just like we have to choose to be obedient and deny our selves everyday.

There was a time in my life when I thought just believing in Jesus was enough, but as I got older, I realized that I was sitting and justifying all my sins that I was doing, and thinking, oh, God will just forgive me for it because I believe in him, No, it's more than that you have to truly want to live for Jesus you have to truly want to give up those sins!! I had trouble trusting God at one time and I asked a pastor what must I do to trust Jesus more, to where I can fully give myself to him, and the pastor's suggested that I read the Bible, fast and say prayers to him and get to know him, I did all this and I asked God for the truths of this world,and I tell you the truth when I say this, he truly dropped the scales from my eyes and showed me all the lies I've been told! I have had supernatural things like this happen to me, so no one can tell me there is no such thing as God! Even now I stopped doing a lot of things that I used to do, I still have a problem with anger and I still use cuss words, those are two things I'm trying to change and with God's help I will be able to do that also, and I truly want to! That's the thing, I'm willing to say, I'm a sinner and I want to repent, I want to change, I don't want to do these sins anymore. I have to admit that even though I am pretty sure that the holy Spirit lives in me from all the things I've experienced, I'm still praying to God that I don't be deceived by Satan because he is The great deceiver! So I pray all the time that God gives me the wisdom,and discernment I need each and every day.

Peace and eternal life come from believing that Jesus shed His blood and took upon Himself the punishment of your sins. He died your death and suffered for your sin to ransom you out of Hell. This is so awesome to me. I was the religious person who wasn't saved, but named the name of Chrisr; my heart wasn't changed. I was still addicted to porn, I was a terrible liar I was trapped in my lust. Man there was so much and it didn't bother me one bit. I convinced myself I was saved. But when I would be alone by myself I would know just know I wasn't really His. I was headed to hell. Had the rapture happened I was gonna be stuck right here. I'm almost 39 for about 30 yrs I was practicing religion on and off. But Praise God about 6 months ago He saved me from my sins. He reached down and grabbed me and sanctified me not because I deserved it. No in-spite of me He saved me and made me righteous with His righteousness. Praise God that He opened my eyes. This is the testimony of one who was full of pride, arrogance, hatred, poen addiction, lust of the flesh etc etc. J deserved death I deserved eternal damnation, I deserved hell. @@mkmason2002 The guy in this video does not say we are saved by works but to examine yourself if you are born again. "For we are God's handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do." - Ephesians 2:10. The apostles often talk about putting down the works of flesh and living in the spirit. Romans 6 talks a lot about it. Also Jesus says to deny yourself daily and pick up your cross and follow Him. Yes we're saved by grace but the fruit or the result of that salvation is good works and following Christ done by the power and work of the Holy Spirit in us. Hope this helps :D

Jesus said many false prophets and teachers will come. This video is a lie from Hell. This is a good works, save yourself salvation, a Lordship salvation. I do like this but the one thing I disagree with God will improve you over time it's not instant I smoke cigarettes am addicted and I keep trying to become a non smoker and I know it is wrong and keep trying to quit I have not yet found a way so your telling me I don't have the holy spirit? Not sure if you’ll ever see this comment...but I want to encourage you to consider doing a fast. You may be battling a stronghold that can be broken with prayer and fasting. You have to diligently seek the scriptures and ask Yahweh to change your desires to be pure. Ask Him to take the taste of cigarettes from you. He can make you repulsed by the taste so you release yourself from that entity. You are a temple. Also, eat peppermints every day. It will make you not desire to smoke. I saw an article on this before. And no, I’ve never smoked, although my heart is to help people who are battling with that issue. Invest is a diffuser and breathe in lavender. Hope this helps. Remember, turn to the Word instead of the addiction. Abba can set you free from all wickedness if you want to.❤️
