Downpipes and a single mid pipes and sounds MUCH better. That’s my set up on my G80.

The new G series has the same problem the previous F series 6 cylinders have: They just don't sound good. You can make them louder by adding a Remus, Miltek, whatever exhaust but even after that they only sound "louder" and arguably better than stock, but still not "good". If only they made them sound as good as they drive!

I agree, I had the 130i which is the N52 engine. NA without turbos. That and the previous 6 cylinders were the best sounding.

We agree they are not the greatest sounding engines compared to some of the previous M Cars; E92, E46 ect, but we must say, this exhaust system is a huge improvement over the stock sound.

AA Single Mid pipe actually make both g8X and f8X series sound soo much better

The valve opens and closes between comfort and sport with the Milltek System.

All that extra space liberated by fitting a tin can is just causing drag. Yes the stock exhaust sounds a bit tame (I have a G82 M4 Comp M) but the stock back box is that shape for a reason😉

Car is on a JB4, we fitted OPF delete modules to avoid any EMLs.

Yes, the valve works with comfort sport etc

@@dumbass_nao shame🙁 I have a g82 with both resonators deleted . It does sound a bit louder but its still way too tame for my liking. I really don’t know what mods I should get without voiding warranty

I'd stick with the original if I was you. The replacement sounds rather tinny and all those pops and cracks would seriously annoy after a short time.
