More fine tuning for Milo 2 before the next run down to Sydney, across to Adelaide and home via a whole lot of back tracks! In this video I finally get rid of all the unnecessary vacuum stuff that's always bothered me - I hate stuff I don't understand and don't need cluttering up an engine bay! - and Richard lobs in to make a custom bracket to carry the MaxTrax on the side of the FrontRunner rack. I finally get around to fitting a pillion seat for the Handbrake, a rugged old half bench that she won't notice once I've covered it with some Black Duck Seat Covers, and then there's some 'old school' tuning when I flick out the pre-heater coils and smooth the intake for more air flow. Finally Richard finds out why the Redarc boost/EGT gauge isn't working - no wonder we call him SMART - and the result is typical of how things run in Roothy's shed!

thought the Max Trax would have set well in a bracket in front of your spare tyres. Save you having to climb up and get them as well!

The heating elements get significantly more restrictive when a catch can isn't installed and it gets coated with oil residue from the crankcase ventilation system.

You might want to stay away from using biodiesel in your rig after that mod(?). I tried to start a diesel using biodiesel a few times that only had ether start, and i didnt have ether, and it was a bugger to get going. That was in the Kempsey area so it wasnt particularly cold.

Get the maxtrax off the roof and put them behind the cab where you have heaps of room and it won't effect aerodynamics.BTW add another pair of maxtrax.

Hello I am a member of the forum and I am looking for what is new about my car . I live in the Middle East in Saudi Arabia , and I have a Land Cruiser from the series FJ40 and I already have a 12 HT engine . I want to convert my engine from 2F to 12HT . And i need to know What are the tools required to convert it . Although I have the installation rules for the engine 12HT and if there are any additional pieces so I can install it correctly . Whats the other tools or equipment that I need for the converting . And Are there other obstacles to avoid in order to get the full adjustment . I need your help seriously .
