I can't help but to grin when you were talking about the Ventrac. It's a cool machine, very versatile. I wish you would have taken an aerial shot of you spraying the "double-dark" application of GCF products. I've done some heavy apps on mine and my grass was still dark 3 days later. I credit all of the NEX-T products for the success that I had when I had a 60% winter kill of my bermuda renovation last year.
@GCITurf6 жыл бұрын
ColonelK0rn sweet. What’s a double dark application? Is that code for something?
@ColonelK0rn16 жыл бұрын
No, it was actually a phrase that Allyn Hane coined for doing a heavy application of Humic 12 on his lawn, which he thought he originated, but he actually heard it from Jake The Lawn Kid years prior. In May, my heavy app was: AIR-8 - 6 oz/M, Humic 12 - 12 oz/M, RGS - 6 oz/M, GreenePunch - 16 oz/M and FEature (for iron) at 2oz/M. My yard was dark from the humic, then held beautiful green for a month. I've been doing bi-weekly AIR-8, Humic 12 and RGS applications, but not at that heavy rate. That was just to kick the green-up into overdrive. It worked like a charm. I'll send you some pictures via email.

Oh man the pun ... "a butt load of Milorganite" this pun was brought to you by the people of Milwaukee, WI and Pete from GCI turf. Love this content keep it up! I can't wait to see how the rehab goes, I just went and bought my first 2 bags of Milorganite today and put it down after manually thatching and having my 6 year old help me cleanup the thatch. Too bad the fescue didn't work out because I love good tall fescue or kentucky bluegrass.

That's a "butt load of Milorganite!"
