Matsuri is highly underrated. Her Riff's are completely crushing and her ability of transitioning Idol Pop lyrics in a Hard core context are staggering. This band is Extremely Bad Ass.

I don't think underrated is the word. Hanabie just don't have much exposure yet and are basically only getting started on the global scene. Though it is somewhat ironic that the onslaught of Japanese otome- & kawaii-metal bands in recent years seems to blur their image just as much as it helps them get discovered... But what Matsuri does for metal right now is what Liam Hewlett did for techno 30 years ago, i.e. brings the punk and the fun in and ramps it all to 11. Each song is just wall to wall brutality and quality in equal measure - simply priceless stuff!

This band is really badass and fun. I love brutal music but hate the typical dark themes in metal. Especially the most extreme such as cannibalism, mutilation etc.... So this band is perfect for me.
