@@TerranPlanetaryDefenseForce right? I’ve thought about that a lot lately and for the longest time lasers and floods were seen as essential. Luckily it seems a lot of people are picking up on that

That night raid truly was something else. The other thing that struck me was how long of distance we went. One of the guys in my fire team had a Fitbit or something that measured distance and by the end of all the back and forth hiking around he said we went about 34 miles, which seems insane considering the ranch is big but it’s nowhere near that big.

That attack on the patrol base reminds me of what happened irl in one of the conflicts in the middle east. The attackers videotaped them killing the sentry, who had an mp3 player on and then moving on to wipe out the unit. The video is out there in the internet, and not for the squeamish.

The motivation isn’t there for some milsimers, people are there for either LARP or training or a bit of both. Frankly, like BJO said, they fucked them up two nights in a row, while the rest of us went back to camp and pulled security and slept. NATO was tired asf

Good stuff and it was good to see you there. I was your dude that was missing with that fireteam on Friday night. I was trying to explain what the deal was but got interrupted by the briefing. After that raid (around 3ish?) one of my dudes was smoked and I was starting to lose vision (migraines cause me to lose non-peripheral vision) so I decided to find a good hide site until morning. I figured that was better than breaking something or falling off a cliff. NATO stole my good radio antenna so I was down to my stubby one so radio comms got me nowhere. That wiped out the P and A of the PACE so I sent a FB message to the PL and logged into ATAK as the C and there was no emergency needed to make use of E. We spent most of the day evading NATO while attempting to get comms with radios again while reporting movements via ATAK. Eventually we got back to friendly lines but things certainly did not go as expected.

Isn't the ANA chest rig just a copy/paste of the Tasmanian tactical MK2? I have to say anyone Militia should be allowed to use nods, no different than civilian factions that are limited to a single rifle attachment(light, optic, sling... ect). Spirit of the game, as it were. Id also like to see no thermals for the bb wars, there isn't a way to really defeat it where as NV can be defeated with light discipline and camouflage still.

You can swap bolts in airsoft guns. Just need to do some research. Look into platforms like GBBRs and DAS for example. It's fine if people don't like to run those but don't point them out as negatives when there are options :) Here, have a sub.

The most unrealistic thing about this, apart from all the other stuff, is that there is no artillery or air strikes to consider. Yes you would be avoiding fields because you die in the artillery barrage. Woodland gives some cover to artillery barrage and airstrikes as well as concealment. And tanks and APCs of course. And belt fed machine guns. OK, so pretty much everything.
