Serving in the Ukrainian Army for the last about 4-5 years. Currently using a AK12 Gen 2 with a 1П87 optic, honestly I love it and don’t really have any gripes.

@@eagleone5456 Well I say 4-5 because I was serving off contract for about a year total when I first moved to Ukraine since at the time joining as a foreigner was very rare and the process was completely different. Technically it doesn’t count since it’s not accredited time but again was on the base, working, with uniform and no pay/waiting for contract to be approved. This was Dec. 2019 before the mass influx of clout seeker foreigners who come now.

I was looking to buy the NOVUS replica too, since the RS became super expensive, but i ende up with the "JJ Airsoft" for airsof use. Compared to the RS it does pretty much as well when airsofting, and it has the same amount of settings and a long battery life too. In other words, i believe its a good contestant to the Novus optic and its the cheapest to get (in europe at least), but i havent had a NOVUS to compare it to. Just wanted to share my experience with other russian LARPers 8)

I like the look of the 1P87 over Eotech, I actually bought one because of your video back in the day, however I was really hesitant to do that initially as I am not a fan of the EOtech reticle, I much more prefer the ring of dots of some of the PK-120 versions. Dont know if I would enjoy this version, EKP Kobra with knockoff G45 magnifier will always have a special place for me, and on my rifle. Too bad EKP-8 costed me over 800 USDT crypto with shipping from Russia to UK so not gonna buy a second one for airsoft, I am going to build one by 3D printing body and placing airsoft SRO in it.

Can you to review the PSA ARK? Short version is its an Ak that takes AR mags, has a bolt catch/release and in my opinion is a great gateway drug to AKs for AR guys and the best for America with Russian ammo is difficult to get.

I dunno, it is rare to see the domestic Russian optics here in Ukraine. If we are up against regular army units or NG, they might have Holosun models. The better trained professional troops like airborne, naval infantry, spetsnaz etc. may have EOTech or other western optics, although VDV at Hostomel had Holosun optics for some reason. I still want to get my hands on some domestic Russian optics, just as a nice little trophy! They are definitely cool for LARP purposes, and I want a genuine article for that.

I can't find a single reason not to run a holosun hs510c...I have one on my truck rig and it has been perfect..the only thing that feels cheap to me is the qd latch

@@Gmny1MOA I had one that I left leaning on the wall of a trench, and we had not been shelled or anything, and I came back, and the front lens had completely fallen out of the optic. Never bought another one after that. Now Running a Vortex Huey and an EOtech magnifier on Unity risers. Does the job.

Born in Moscow..thank goodness i moved to America 🇺🇸 our gear here is soooo much better. Russian optics have little features along with holosun quality..they cost thousands because they are battlefield pickups. (At least the ones ive seen) 😅
