The LBE suite will be perfect with a padded belt & you can use shoulder padding from plate carriers attached to the suspenders. Such a dynamic set-up.

I'd love to have the cobra assault pack but at $900 I can't justify that as a civilian, not saying it isn't worth it. I have a version 1.0 Refuge Medical stomp bag that came in a basic condor 3 day bag. They've since upsized and gone American Mfg for their packs. I love this modularity so anyone can open it and pull the content bag you need when labeled.

Do they sell those rifle pouches individually?

Jim , why don't you use the harness on the backpack and make it a standard on the Chess rig itself therefore making only one nsn And the system will be redundant

That lbe harness looks like it has zero padding. I still run an old alice lbe Harness, and I can tell you any soldier wearing this is going to hate this lbe they make. Soldiers will overload it and it will be uncomfortable.

1. I personally like harness with zero padding. 2. As mentioned by Jim, a padded harness from the backpack can be used on LBE instead of default slick harness.

That way they sell a pad set to go over the harness straps.

The LSS has a low profile pad for the shoulders which is intended to be worn underneath the plate carrier. This has already been tested by Soldiers in the 25th Infantry Division and has been determined to be sufficient. However, SOTECH also has thicker pads which can be purchased if a Soldier wants to personalize their kit.
