Very helpful, thanks. Some battery-powered applications just suck the power out of batteries and blowers are one of those. I admit I'm not up to speed (sorry for the pun) on Forge batteries...are Forge batteries going to produce longer runtimes, or do they only allow a faster discharge rate?

Great review! I enjoy your videos! Like you said, it would be good to use around business's or maybe early residential customers because its a little quieter. Its not strong enough, doesn't have enough run time and cost way too much. Ill stick with Echo 9010.

As a homeowner I use battery powered OPE (Ego brand) and it works great, but I don't believe battery powered OPE is feasible for a pro. Run time and cost are the biggest issues in my opinion.

For instance, their power stations all are using Lithium Ion internal batteries or even worse, their own power tool batteries. All the companies that specialize in those products have moved to LiFePO4 chemistry batteries. The number of charge cycles for LiFePO4 batteries is measured in the thousands. Lithium Ion charge cycles are measured in the hundreds.
