Home Depot: homedepot.sjv.io/e57yr The new Milwaukee 48-22-5102 pocket level offers a great degree of portability with a beefy aluminum design. Thanks to Home Depot and Milwaukee for providing a review sample.

You’re exactly right. I had that $30 pos in my hand last night. I got to the self check out, saw how much it was and left it there. And you’re right. That one was slightly off as well. I just bought two $5 torpedoes and called it a night.

Great review thanks!

Es que es mas exacto que los de aluminio, por eso ante fracciones de angulación ? la burbuja varia aparentemente mucho. Eso creo yo. Lo probé y es impresionantemente exacto.

I was thinking of getting one of these, but if the paint goes it's useless for levelling anything it seems. Just saved me some money for a better tool, thanks.

Good for checking if a box is level. That dial looks like a pain in the butt though. I'll stick with my torpedo.

That sucks - hopefully you can return it if it broke from one drop.

I love Milwaukee stuff, but this item is useless you have to Calibrate it every time you move it. There should be a spot where it clicks into place at 0. I understand that it may only have a slight impact on your work but if it's not perfect you may as well use your eye ball.

That's a great idea - a positive stop would have easily fixed the accuracy issue.

I’ll stick to my empire 9” torpedo level!!!

Yeah, I usually use a torpedo level for most things I do too. This one only comes out when I can't fit a longer level where I need to.

Why make excuses for a tool that fails to do the only job it is designed to do?
@DoresoomReviews6 жыл бұрын
I put the information out there, and gave my interpretation - you're welcome to interpret it differently. Greater length in a level does provide greater accuracy. With this pocket level's contact length, 0.3° is only a matter of 0.015". For a 48" level, 0.3° is a difference of 0.25" from end to end.
@3vil3lvis6 жыл бұрын
That is absurd to suggest that accuracy failure is because the level is shorter than a 48" level. This level fails because of either poor quality control or poor design. The only thing a longer level will give is more precision over that length...it does nothing to improve accuracy. The tool is either accurate at the time it was made or it is not...and this one is not.

I'm not disputing that it's not as accurate as it should be. I'm saying I wouldn't use this pocket level for situations where accuracy was critical - I'd use a longer level in that case. It's all about using the right tool for the job. If you want to call it making excuses, then that's fine with me.
