7:20 If you dont unplug the O2 sensors your might want to turn it a couple turns left before screwing the sensor in. That way you dont risk twisting your O2 sensor's cable when screwing the sensor in. 😎🤘🏻 But I might be a bit too perfectionist. Superb job!

Just bought em through j&p as well as the arlen Ness monster sucker. Got the S&S 551 easy start cams gonna bore it out this winter and a new throttle body in the spring can't wait for the final result!

Question? Did you slide the muffler as far forward as it would go ? Mine seems to be to far back past the bag.

Notice you didn’t mention using any thread-locking substances. Do you not use any for this application?

You said nothing about retuning.....does it not need it? Are they able to automatically adjust for the pipe with no catalytic converter??

We would always recommend a tuner when adding intake or exhaust. It effectivly changes the air curve of the motorcycle, the fuel curve needs to be adjusted to match the increased airflow. Something like a FP3 or Power Vision works great.

@@jpcycles Thanks, I went full Monty and opted for the Thunder Max. Future plans of a S&S 475 cam , Cam chest, Oil pump, Throttle valve and intake and injectors. Just to name a few. LOL!!

Is there a reason why you took the o2 sensors off and put them back in while the head-pipe was still close to the bike?

No, you can install them on the bench away from the bike if you like.

I just did a 3000 miles ride with the DB reducer in. It is fine as long as you cruising. When I get into the gas it roars.

Do they make a ghost pipe for the other side? I have the same bike, but, with the special having stretched bags, the left side has a cut out with nothing there.

I assume the "hole" your talking about is the bag cut out on the left hand side of the pipe? S&S products are 100% performance orientated, a "ghost pipe" would serve no performance purpose and just add unnecessary weight. So no ghost pipe.

J&P Cycles, thanks for the response. I went ahead and ordered the chrome version. As for that empty left muffler space, my gremlin bell just found a new home. Lol. I have very good hearing and am tired of hearing it when I’m riding. (I know.... it was a gift from my son)

S&S now offers a ghost pipe for the Sidewinder 2:1. Guess they didn't like "the hole" either.
