Are milwaukee better or facom, which are made in france, when it comes to aviation snips.

@scalabration Taiwan I suppose. I honestly don't look at that anymore. I look at the tool. I can't control where they come from but I can choose the best I can find.

I recently purchased a pair of m1 and m2 aviation offset snips by Milwaukee, they had a set that came together m3 and m4 which cost about 12 dollars more. I checked the back of the package to see if there was a difference in gauge that it cut, but it was surprisingly the same. I asked their tool specialist the same question and he couldn't figure it out, besides telling me one pair cost $22 and the other $34. Can anyone help me out?

@scalabration It would be great if we could buy all American made tools but that boat sailed years ago because so many insisted on cheap first. Now we can choose between whining about what is not anymore or getting the best bang for our tool dollar. I choose to do the latter until the world does a 180 and we are willing to pay for American made products again.

Sean Kiser Ive been doing commercial duct work for 6 years and I have always bought midwest.. well im due for new snips and was debating on buying the Milwaukee offsets. what is it that you don't like about them? just curious...

@@electricbogan8162 nothing at all from my experience. I'm new to sheet metal work but I got my Milwaukee snips on advice from a veteran sheet metal worker who says they're the best he's used. I just say I agree. They're definitely leagues ahead of the wiss snips I was issued for work.
