Their dee was poor. Too many open threes for the Celtics. Giannis was clumsy with some of the plays. Giving up three points before the half and missing bunnies. He still needs to work on his shot. The mechanics don't look right. You can't use Middleton as an excuse. They had enough to win.

Boston showed us long ago that it would play games like this. They've got a great team game. even if the game is jammed for them, they somehow manage to get out of that jam very well. We have seen this in every game of the series. Almost every player contributes. If we come to the specifics of this game, we watched a great team game again. We saw how important the side parts are. of these, grant williams and pritcher were the heroes of the night. Boston is stepping into the final. This team and the devoted Celtics fans deserve the championship. The Celtics seem to wink at the championship right now.

I'm sorry, but I honestly believe keeping Donte instead of Allen would have changed something. In the moment the Celtics hit their 3rd 3pt in the 1st quarter I feared the Bucks would lose... Boston had tons of 3pts with 40%, while Milwaukee had 12%. Obviously not having Middleton is a big thing, but you can't win today without a shooter creating at least a bit of space. Giannis can't be in two spots at the same time, Holiday can't be both passer and shooter...and I'm sorry to point out that in this series Allen had multiple matches with extremely low shooting. It's probably a matter of fear, focus and team building, it takes time... Donte HAD THAT already, for years; Allen could not possibly have it yet. Worst possible decision.

It may sound weird but this Khris/Jrue Olympic summer affected big time the Bucks, since it exhausted them, caused injuries and forced Giannis to carry a huge weight during the RS, which later on resulted in his playoff fatigue. Boston's team and coaching were great tho and they fully deserve it. If these two teams stay healthy and keep their core players the future of the Eastern Conference will be defined by a great rivarly.

nothing else could be done as they had to check tatum and dare others to make shots. they checked brown and tatum and had to give up something. it wont help not having their second primary star. you have to be in prime tip top shape with full roster to beat eastern conference teams who always play tough defence. LBJ bossed there because he was phenomenal( 8 years in a row is ridiculous and also missed 2 to 3 times. first 7 years he had a terrible roster). Unlike yanis lbj mixes his game, drive,shooting, jumpers etc etc( watch that elimination game at celtics). that is why he is different than yannis. yannis tried to out-muscle when his jumpers failed him unlike lbj. you can see KD struggling, EMBID STRUGGLING, BEN SIMMONS etc etc. not LBJ he sent everybody packing: the detroits, the celtics, the indianas, torontos. if he had a better support in 2015( injuries), 2017, 2018 he would be undisputed GOAT. i only hold 2011 loss against him( they were leading 2-1 before it collapsed inexplicably). 2013( they were going for 3 peat and roster got washed up) the 2018 against celtics is a testimony to that. he had an awful roster! granted the celtics were young. but he was so good. East coast teams grind you to the ground man! yanis will learn from this.

Giannis according to NBA stats is the first play-off player to tally 200+ points, 100+ rebounds and 50+ assists throughout a series.He even broke the 20 year old,haunted Shaquille's record.Seriously the guy isn't Harry Potter and he played one against ALL.Even winning 3 games with clutch 3 pointers which is his only weakeness, testifies his dominance and quality.Jrue had some crucial defenses but didn't score enough and with a supporting cast of 12% on three pointers you can't win against these Celtics.Props to Magic Jonshon and O'Neal who admitted Giannihs is by far the best right now, maybe excpept for 3p shooting but in every other aspect for his team.Even Shaquille had his Kobe, Giannis shouldn't get any more wasted in Milwaukee if they don't decide to frame him with some proper shooting mates

Brook never defends at the 3pt line and all Williams had to do was wait in the wings and catch-and-shoot...and boy was he smokin 'em 3s! Brook had no place in this game. I have been a Celtics fan since 1960, so I have seen a lot of great series, but none more satisfying than the past two. Watching the maturation of this team-from five individuals fighting one another for the ball (2018-19 and 2019-20) to Jaylen and Jayson each trying to be the alpha dog (2020-January 2022) to a suddenly cohesive unit that shares the rock and plays lockdown defense-has been exciting to watch. Monty Williams did a great job in Phoenix but Ime deserved to be coach of the year. I can't think of another coach-much less a first-year coach-who could turn a team around like this in half a season. Miami (and whoever comes out of the west) will be formidable opponents, but I think the C's have at least as good a shot at the LOBT as anyone left in the playoffs.

Great defender most of the time and decent playmaker but not enough to be a 2nd option and sometimes not even a 3rd. Lopez and the rest of the “shooters” on bucks are as inconsistent as Middleton. Point is I’ve seen every star in the playoffs Have a bad game but their team steps up for them especially for Tatum. Can’t say that for giannis. they kept the core and worked hard. they had athleticism. they had no chance against bucks if middleton was fit. short turnaround is an achiless heel. last year it was lakers now bucks.you need 3 months rest after deep run, otherwise one or the other stars get injured and that derails your goals. other teams who have had good rest make the run( celtics were booted out early last year). SUNS ARE ALSO STRUGGLING. i wont be surprised if they are sent home packing( i mean CP seams exhausted!)

What a win and damn what a game from Grant Williams. One gripe is that the officiating was abysmal just about all series long. Just compare the non-call at 0:30 with some of the charges/offensive fouls called later in the game. No consistency whatsoever
