You need a steel brush for the small cracks they have all type just have to find the right place to buy it

Get your self some roloc bristle brushes for cleaning off old gaskets and removing stuff on machined surfaces or metal surfaces that u don’t want scratched up. I reluctantly bought the m12 angled die grinder, sander/polisher, ratchet, m18 impact and bandsaw. The die grinder and sander/polisher might be my favorite tools in the shop. I do lots of metal work and hate the metal prep. I keep die grinder bur bit in my die grinder and Roloc on the sander/polisher

Thanks for the advice! I’m definitely gonna look into the Roloc brushes!

Battery die grinder is a great tool. Definitely a must have for junkyard parts revivals. Looking forward to WJ knuckle swap, I did it on my YJ!

Awesome! How did you like it on yours?

@@jtmoffroad I did the knuckle swap, high steer setup, larger WJ brakes with the dual piston calipers and then had to upgrade to a dual diaphragm brake booster(stand in 95 YJs). I also did the Durango box swap at the same time. It all works very well. It wasn’t too bad to do and I’m thinking very shortly I’ll be doing an SOA conversion. The one thing is I have 15” wheels so I needed wheel spacers to clear the big brake calipers. In my opinion it’s a great upgrade!! Looking forward to your next video.

Ah that’s awesome! Funds are lacking so far cause I had to make some other purchases so I’m hoping to get the wj swap done before wheeling this year but may have to wait til later

@@jtmoffroad I truly understand the funds lacking. Junkyard saved me on some parts and others I just saved over time. I really like your videos and looking forward to the next!

You can pick up some grinding stones at harbor freight or wire wheels to get in the nooks and crannies

I picked some up a while back for an electric die grinder I got but it just didn’t cut it. I’ll have to try those out for these grinders, thanks for the reminder. I have some wire wheels also but they’re not rated for the speeds those grinders put out so I’ll prob have to check out other ones
